Job Summary

Job Title: Installed Base Engineer
Location: Electrical Ave Milwaukee WI
Job Type: Long-Term Contract

Introduction

The team developing industry-leading X-ray generation subsystems (i.e. tubes and generators) is seeking a highly motivated engineer to support sustainment efforts for maintaining the large installed base of imaging scanners utilizing these subsystems in the field.

This role will focus primarily on compliance change notices and required design updates impacting products and regulatory reporting. Additionally the engineer will support field data gathering and processing to assist with field escalations product quality surveillance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Description / Key Responsibilities

Drive design change activities related to compliance notifications (e.g. RoHS REACH Plastics regulations reporting and labeling requirements)
Support regulatory compliance updates and associated engineering documentation
Collaborate with Installed Base and Field Service Engineering teams to gather and analyze field failure data
Monitor product quality trends and identify improvement opportunities
Lead field failure data collection and cleansing for X-ray tubes and generators within the installed base
Support field escalations through structured data analysis and reporting

Tools & Technologies

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint etc.)
Experience with PLM systems such as 3DEXPERIENCE or PTC Windchill
Knowledge of RoHS REACH and emerging PFAS regulatory requirements
Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI)
Strong interpersonal communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Biomedical Industrial Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Experience supporting compliance sustainment engineering or installed base engineering environments preferred
