As a Security Guard - Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Long Beach CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. Join Allied Universal on an armed driving patrol post supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents respond to alarms and requests and document activity using a computer or tablet. Bring a valid armed guard card/license and a valid drivers license. You will represent our agile reliable innovative team with a caring people-first approach and integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants visitors and/or contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures property policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the commercial property including interior common areas exterior grounds parking areas and perimeter as permitted by post orders.
- Monitor access points and building activity verify credentials when required and help to deter unauthorized entry loitering and/or suspicious behavior.
- Respond to alarms disturbances and/or other incidents in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with property management and local public responders as needed.
- Complete detailed reports of incidents patrol activity and/or maintenance concerns and communicate observations to the site supervisor and/or property management.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card/license is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
