What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out Allied Universal and location-specific security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating notifications to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings corridors parking areas and perimeter zones with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas during patrols help to deter unauthorized entry and report hazards unusual activity and policy violations through required communication channels.
• Document security-related activities incidents and observations in daily reports and/or incident reports and assist with shift briefings and handoffs to support continuity of operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being able to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
