THE ROLE:The
Director People Operations & Global Recruitment (m/f/d) is a
hands-on operational leader responsible for the delivery optimisation and management of people operations for EMEA UK APAC and India; and recruitment across EMEA UK APAC Americas and India.
Reporting to the VP People EMEA & APAC with a dotted line to VP People NA for Americas recruitment this role works closely with the
Senior Director People Partnering International to ensure operational processes HRIS systems recruitment strategies and employee onboarding are seamless efficient and globally aligned.
This role ensures that day-to-day people operations run smoothly recruitment needs are met across regions and employees experience consistent high-quality onboarding and training.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:People Operations & Employee Experience Lead and manage day-to-day people operations and benefits across multiple regions for the employee lifecycle
Manage face-to-face onboarding induction programs and localised training ensuring new employees are supported and integrated effectively
Manage the people operations team setting clear expectations coaching and supporting operational delivery
Drive continuous improvement of operational processes ensuring efficiency accuracy and scalability
Ensure HRIS systems support operational excellence reporting automation and self-service capabilities
Work closely with People Partnering to ensure smooth delivery of people initiatives while maintaining operational clarity
Global Recruitment Lead recruitment operations and strategy for Germany UK US and expanding regions (US & India) ensuring high-quality candidate experience and efficient processes
Partner with business leaders to understand workforce planning needs and deliver recruitment solutions
Monitor recruitment metrics pipelines and processes driving improvements as needed
Dotted line accountability to VP People NA for US recruitment
Team Leadership & Collaboration Lead operational and recruitment teams across multiple regions ensuring clarity of roles accountability and service standards
Provide hands-on coaching and support to the team stepping in to cover operational or recruitment tasks as required
Partner with People Partnering to maintain consistent aligned delivery across employee lifecycle activities
Systems Processes & Compliance Ensure HRIS systems processes and workflows are optimised for efficiency and consistency across regions
Maintain compliance with local employment laws and internal policies partnering with HR Compliance where required
Identify and implement process improvements to scale effectively as the business grows
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:Essential Strong operational experience in people operations and HRIS management
Hands-on experience leading global recruitment teams with expansion experience of benefit
Demonstrated experience in onboarding localised training and employee lifecycle operations
Ability to optimise operational processes implement efficiencies and drive continuous improvement
Experience managing HRIS systems reporting and automation
Excellent written and verbal communication in English and German
Desirable Experience supporting scale-up or high-growth international software/technology companies
Experience expanding recruitment teams into new regions (US India)
Familiarity working closely with People Partnering or HR Business Partner functions
