Job Description
As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver in Wilmington DE you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location where you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols stay highly visible and help to deter security-related incidents. You will use clear communication and customer service to support employees visitors and operations while documenting activity and responding to calls for assistance. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities in a chemical and/or petrochemical environment.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including reporting hazards suspicious activity and/or unauthorized access according to post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas warehouses tank farms loading and unloading points and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access control points and maintain visitor contractor and delivery documentation as required including verifying credentials and directing traffic to authorized areas.
- Complete detailed shift reports incident reports and patrol logs and communicate status updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
