Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Site Rounds in San Francisco CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will support staff patients and visitors with clear communication and helpful customer service while documenting observations and reporting concerns. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including medical-related disturbances visitor concerns and/or access issues.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings common areas and the perimeter noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized entry.
- Monitor access points assist with visitor directions and/or check-in processes as required by site policy and report policy violations to management.
- Complete security-related reports and daily activity logs communicate observations to site personnel and cooperate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1 years of security experience.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
