Job Description
As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol in Oklahoma City OK you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns document activities and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while providing outstanding customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a financial services location.
- Respond to alarms suspicious activity disturbances and/or critical incidents in a calm problem-solving manner notifying site leadership and/or law enforcement as required.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility interior exterior parking areas ATM areas and perimeter with working environments and conditions varying by site.
- Monitor access points and lobby activity assist with visitor management as directed and observe for policy violations related to restricted areas such as cash handling vault and operations spaces.
- Complete detailed reports of incidents patrol activity and unusual conditions maintain radio and/or phone communications and follow all firearms handling and licensing requirements for the post.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
