WHAT YOULL BE IMMERSED IN
Across Caboolture Private Hospital our Medical & Surgical wards care for a wide range of patients with varying acuity and diverse clinical needs. This program will give you structured supported exposure to areas such as:
- Medical specialties include respiratory palliative care oncology haematology chronic disease management acute assessment unit & general medicine.
- Surgical specialties include orthopaedics urology gynaecology general surgery vascular neurosurgery ENT plastics & paediatrics.
Youll learn from highly skilled clinicians educators and leaders who are passionate about helping you grow.

WHO CAN APPLY
We welcome applications from:
- Enrolled Nurses with medication endorsement (IV Qualifications essential)
Perfect for nurses with some recent clinical experience who want to step confidently into acute care.
This program is open to new employees joining Ramsay Health Care.
PROGRAM DETAILS
Start with a fully paid full-time 3-week intensive training program (20th April - 8th May 2026)that blends classroom learning and real clinical practice then step seamlessly into the hours and employment pattern that suit your career goals.
Week 1:
Foundational training simulations clinical refreshers and acute care essentials.
Weeks 2-3:
Ward-based clinical training hands-on practice and supported shifts alongside your nursing team.

WHAT YOULL NEED
- At least 3 years post graduate nursing experience.
- Current AHPRA registration (EN)
- Medication endorsement (for ENs)
- A genuine passion for delivering excellent patient care
- A commitment to show up learn ask questions and grow
- Working With Children Check (upon successful application)
- Able to provide or complete a National Criminal History Check (upon successful application)
