Job Description
As a Security Officer - Gatehouse Attendant in OMAHA NE you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location you will help manage entry points verify credentials greet employees and visitors and support a smooth check-in process while documenting activity in computer-based systems. You will perform routine patrols of assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents and communicate clearly with site contacts. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to site personnel drivers and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
- Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification confirming authorization issuing temporary visitor credentials and directing individuals to appropriate check-in areas.
- Screen inbound and outbound traffic including employee and visitor vehicles and commercial deliveries using site-approved inspection processes and documentation to help support controlled access.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including escalating concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
- Maintain accurate written and/or electronic logs of arrivals departures access denials and incident activity and communicate timely updates during shift turnover.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
