You will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents and support access control and incident reporting. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel contractors and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings production areas parking lots and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance or operational concerns for reporting.
• Monitor access points and verify identification visitor authorization and delivery documentation; direct visitors and drivers to designated check-in areas per site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating notifications completing incident reports and preserving information for follow-up.
• Operate site systems and communications such as radios phones and alarm and/or camera monitoring tools; maintain accurate logs of patrols inspections and key events.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security experience is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 2 years law enforcement military and/or corrections experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
