Job Description
As a Security Officer - Gatehouse Driver in Toronto OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location in an access control post where you will manage entry points verify credentials support visitor and vendor processing and document security-related activity with clear communication. You will remain visible conduct routine patrols and respond to situations with integrity teamwork and a caring people-first approach. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license under AU Driver Policy Requirements.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Manage access control by verifying identification issuing visitor credentials directing deliveries and contractors to designated areas and logging entries and exits per site requirements.
- Monitor alarms cameras and other access control systems when assigned and report irregular activity or policy violations through appropriate channels.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including initiating notifications documenting actions taken and supporting responding personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access identify hazards to operations and report maintenance or security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
