What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by following site-specific procedures and security-related protocols and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents requests for assistance and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting actions per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas including interior corridors entrances parking areas and perimeter routes as applicable.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing traffic flow verifying credentials when directed and reporting irregular activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Complete required reports and logs communicate clearly with onsite teams and/or dispatch and support security-related operations during medical emergencies visitor issues and other time-sensitive events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital vaccines are required.
• Proof of a high school diploma and/or GED is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid may be completed post hire and is preferred.
• CPR certification may be completed post hire and is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
