The John Hunter Hospital Physiotherapy Department provides services across John Hunter Hospital Rankin Park Centre and Belmont District Hospital. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality innovative physiotherapy services that meet the needs of our patients and the community.
We are seeking a motivated and organised Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Belmont Hospital in a temporary part-time role (12 hours per week) commencing 9 March 2026 for six months. There may be opportunities for extension or additional hours across Belmont Hospital John Hunter Hospital and/or Rankin Park Centre depending on service needs.

About the Role
Working under the supervision of a qualified Allied Health Professional you will provide both clinical and administrative support to assist in delivering safe patient-centred physiotherapy services.
You will work across inpatient and outpatient areas and contribute to day-to-day service delivery by:
Youll be part of a skilled and collaborative Allied Health team that works closely with inpatient and outpatient services to support high-quality care.
About You
You are enthusiastic reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong communication time management and organisational skills are essential.
You will also demonstrate:
Completion of or progress toward a Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent) is desirable.
