Job Description
As a Security Guard - Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Taylorsville NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location you will perform routine foot and vehicle patrols stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents and respond to calls for service with calm professional communication. You will document observations assist staff and visitors with directions and questions and support a team that values integrity reliability and innovation. This post requires carrying a valid drivers license and working an armed assignment.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to site staff visitors and/or contractors by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
- Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with post orders applicable laws and Allied Universal guidelines helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or contraband movement.
- Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site leadership and local first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings housing areas sally ports perimeter lines and parking areas; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
- Complete detailed reports on incidents patrol activities and unusual observations maintaining accurate logs and/or chain-of-custody documentation when required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess an Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
