As a Security Officer Corporate Building Access Controlin Foothill Ranch CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees contractors carriers and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures and other security-related policies.
- Operate access control points at a manufacturing and/or corporate location including checking identification verifying credentials issuing temporary badges and directing authorized traffic to appropriate areas.
- Monitor alarms cameras access control panels and/or activity at entry points and report irregular conditions in accordance with post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including notifying site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
- Complete required documentation such as visitor logs vehicle and delivery records incident reports and shift activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
