Security Officer Roving Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Roving Patrol Driver in Sparks NV you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location you will complete routine vehicle patrols and visible checks help to identify security-related concerns and support access control and incident reporting. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license under AU Driver Policy requirements. You will deliver customer service focused assistance clear communication and dependable teamwork while acting with integrity in a caring agile and innovative culture.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and notifying site contacts and/or Allied Universal management as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas warehouses offices parking areas and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions unsecured doors and/or potential policy violations.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points verifying authorization where required and directing visitors and contractors according to site procedures.
• Complete routine reports and logs communicate via radio and/or phone and support site operations with security-related assistance as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
