Job Description
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Roving Driver in Irving TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a cultural institution location you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols remain highly visible to help reduce security-related concerns and assist staff and visitors with professional customer service. You will document observations communicate clearly and support incident response with integrity and teamwork. This is a driving post so a valid drivers license is required.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors staff and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a cultural institution setting.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of galleries exhibit areas offices storage spaces and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor flow as assigned assisting with directions queue management and enforcing posted rules regarding restricted areas and artifact handling.
- Complete detailed reports on patrols incidents policy violations and maintenance concerns and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and/or site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
