Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Clearance Required in Riviera Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points verify identification and/or authorization and document visitor vehicle and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating notifications and assisting with scene control until additional resources arrive.
- Complete detailed reports logs and shift handoffs and communicate unusual activity maintenance concerns and/or policy issues to Allied Universal and site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1 or more years of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Have an armed guard card and/or license.
- Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Be 21 or more years of age.
- Have a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associates degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
