As a Security Officer - Unarmed Foot Patrol in Charlotte NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential condominium community you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist residents and guests with a customer-service mindset communicate clearly with on-site teams and document observations. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents guests and vendors by following Allied Universal post orders property policies and security-related procedures and assisting with directions and general inquiries.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential common areas entrances hallways stairwells garages and exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and respond to alarms calls for service and resident concerns in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting management and/or public emergency services when needed.
• Document and report incidents observations and patrol activities using required logs and reports and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.
• Support property operations by checking doors and gates for proper closure observing amenity areas for rule compliance and assisting with after-hours vendor access in accordance with site-specific instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
