Job Summary
About Cliet: Leading speciality chemicals agrochemicals agrochemicals intermediates and pharmaceutical intermediates manufacturing company.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations & Process Management
- Ensure smooth and continuous operation of ETP STP (if applicable) and associated utilities.
- Monitor treatment processes including neutralization biological treatment chemical dosing filtration RO/MEE (if installed).
- Maintain required effluent discharge standards as per Pollution Control Board norms.
- Optimize chemical consumption and process efficiency.
- Maintain log sheets and operational records.
2. Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with CPCB/SPCB environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with government authorities for inspections and audits.
- Maintain statutory records returns and environmental documentation.
- Support environmental audits and sustainability initiatives.
3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Plan preventive and breakdown maintenance of ETP equipment (pumps blowers agitators clarifiers etc.).
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repair and upkeep.
- Ensure calibration of online monitoring instruments (pH COD BOD TSS flow meters).
4. Team Management
- Supervise ETP operators and technicians.
- Train staff on safe handling of chemicals and plant operations.
- Ensure adherence to safety and PPE protocols.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Track KPIs such as COD reduction sludge generation chemical usage energy consumption.
- Maintain MSDS and chemical inventory records.
6. Safety & Environment
- Ensure safe storage and handling of treatment chemicals.
- Implement safety procedures and emergency response plans.
- Promote zero-discharge / water recycling initiatives.
Experience
- 6–10 years of experience in ETP operations within a chemical or process industry.
- Hands-on experience in biological treatment systems RO MEE ATFD (if applicable).
- Strong knowledge of pollution control regulations.
