As a Security Officer - Unarmed Campus Patrol in Alpharetta GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and media location as an unarmed patrol officer where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and support access control and visitor guidance. You will document observations communicate clearly with site contacts and respond to concerns with professionalism and customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a technology office location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout interior spaces common areas parking areas and perimeter points noting unusual activity and reporting concerns through established security-related channels.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification issuing visitor credentials maintaining visitor logs and directing guests to the appropriate destination in accordance with site policies.
• Monitor alarms surveillance systems and other security-related equipment when assigned documenting observations and escalating issues to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner providing accurate reports and timely notifications to support appropriate follow-up actions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
