Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Armed ATM Patrol in Los Angeles CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility lobby and customer areas ATM and drive-up areas and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity confirm authorization where required and report suspicious behavior hazards and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting staff and customers and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed.
- Complete detailed activity and incident reports maintain required documentation and equipment logs and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal management and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Have an armed guard card and/or license.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A valid firearms permit is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
