Job Summary
Our startup client develops off-grid communications technology (software solar-powered hardware) for Adventurers Firefighters DoD Rescue Operations and more. They currently need a Senior Android Engineer to join their team and help scale their product. This is an exciting opportunity for an established Mobile Developer to build new cutting-edge software and join a company that already has a lot of momentum. Android experts with Kotlin expertise and SDK device experience (custom hardware satellite technology Bluetooth sensors etc.) are highly preferred.
We are currently considering candidates based in San Francisco Chicago and Washington D.C. - hybrid remote opportunity on-site 2-3 days a week.
An ideal candidate will have the following:
- 8 years Android/Kotlin background
- Experience bringing new features from concept to shipped product
- Background with SDK IoT hardware devices Bluetooth
- Successful history launching apps in a startup environment
- Strong communication skills
- Collaborative mindset
