As a Armed Security Guard- Exp Required ($3k Sign On Bonus)in Reno NV you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Learn more: As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine foot and vehicle checks and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for service support staff and riders with professional communication and document observations clearly. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff and visitors at a government transportation location by following Allied Universal procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings parking areas platforms bus bays and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas verify identification and/or authorization as required and document entries exits and other security-related activity per post orders.
- Respond to alarms disturbances medical calls and other incidents in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site representatives and public agencies as directed.
- Complete detailed incident reports patrol logs and weapon-related documentation and communicate observations and recommendations to supervision and/or site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 years of armed security law enforcement and/or military experience is required.
- An Armed Guard Card and/or license is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience with handcuffs pepper spray and/or baton is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
