As a Security Officer - Front Gate Desk in Delray Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location you will greet tenants and visitors manage entry points verify credentials and monitor activity using a computer and/or tablet. You will conduct routine rounds document security-related events and communicate clearly with property staff to help reduce disruptions. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and contractors by following security-related procedures property policies and post orders at a commercial real estate location.
• Control access at building entrances and restricted areas by verifying identification issuing visitor credentials maintaining visitor logs and coordinating with property management for approvals and/or access changes.
• Monitor alarms CCTV and other access control systems; report irregularities and maintenance needs through required channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating notifications to property management and emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies corridors common areas parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations documenting observations as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
