Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Gatehouse in Prescott AR you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an Allied Universal Security Officer in an access control role you will help manage entry points verify credentials greet visitors and contractors and support sign-in and badge processes. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and communicate clearly with staff and guests. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Operate an access control post by verifying identification issuing visitor credentials maintaining visitor and contractor logs and directing guests to the appropriate location.
- Monitor entry and exit points gates and/or loading areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report irregular activity per post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting events and escalating concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter with working environments and conditions varying by location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
