As a Security Officer - Government Patrol Bike in Cary NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a government location helping to deter security-related incidents while providing visible support to the community. This driving post requires a valid drivers license. You will engage with individuals on-site deliver outstanding customer service and uphold our values of integrity teamwork and innovation in every interaction.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior hazards or irregularities encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients visitors and staff as needed.
• Document incidents observations and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist law enforcement and/or emergency responders as directed during incidents at the location.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted or unauthorized behavior within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Able to ride a bike.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
