Job Summary

About the Role

  • Provides relevant and appropriate HR advice and support to all employees in assigned client groups while promoting best practices and ensuring compliance with all company procedures policies and applicable legislation.
  • Supports managers in areas of recruitment retention talent management engagement employee relations and training and development.
  • Works collaboratively with team members on various HR projects.
  • Delivers HR services and provides expertise to clients resulting in a seamless point of contact and ensuring successful integration of corporate HR initiatives. This includes but is not limited to: full-cycle recruitment employment law & compliance disability management employee relations benefits administration employee engagement employment equity performance management learning and development (including orientation of new hires) and HRIS data integrity.
  • Manages full-cycle recruitment to meet resourcing goals across all levels within the assigned region.
  • Leads through employee relations matters such as conducting workplace investigations researching facilitating interviews/ meetings drafting letters involving discipline performance improvement plans and other corrective actions that require follow-up.
  • Analyzes and assists with developing designing implementing and evaluating various learning and development initiatives and programs for designated client groups (new hire orientation/onboarding focus groups and coaching & facilitation)
  • Assesses sensitive and complex situations advising in the progression of such cases and escalate concerns related to business risk to the HR Manager as required.
  • Coordinates the preparation of HR forms and letters related to the effective processing of HR transactions (new hires transfers promotions terminations)
  • Establishes strong relationships by delivering quality and timely service identifying design and process inefficiencies and bringing a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Supports the HR centers of expertise in the localized planning and implementation of programs projects and initiatives.

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills

Who Were Looking For

  • Bachelors degree and at least 5 years progressive experience in an HR Generalist role
  • Experience working ATS PMS and HRIS (ADP and Workday) are assets
  • HRPA designation preferred
