As a Security Officer - PT Site Rounds in GREENWICH CT you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants visitors and staff by following Allied Universal post orders site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial property.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of lobbies corridors stairwells parking areas loading docks and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or access concerns.
- Monitor access points and respond to alarms suspicious activity and other incidents in a calm problem-solving manner requesting assistance from property management and/or local responders as needed.
- Complete detailed reports of incidents patrol findings and security-related observations and communicate timely updates to supervisors and site contacts.
- Assist with building protocols such as after-hours rounds key and/or badge accountability when assigned and directing visitors and/or deliveries according to site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
