Working Student Legal & Compliance (mfd)

LOCATION:Bremen Germany

THE ROLE:

We are looking for a Working Student (m/f/d) for the Legal & Compliance department with the scope of 20 hours/week. As a Working Student (m/f/d) you will be involved in the day-to-day activities of the Legal department of an internationally operating software company and support the team in various areas. This includes contract law and management commercial information technology and data protection law as well as compliance quality environmental and occupational health and safety management.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supporting the department in all activities that arise such as the review of contracts assess compliance with applicable laws and regulations or the creation of internal guidelines and policies
• Research activities on issues from IT contract law data protection law and related legal areas at the interface between law and digitalization
• Collaboration in the creation of training documents as well as planning preparation and implementation of training courses
• Expanding and maintaining the contract database including storing contracts in an audit-proof manner and supplementing them with metadata
• Supporting the department in testing and further developing the contract management system

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• You are in an advanced stage of your law studies
• Quick comprehension team spirit initiative and strong communication skills as well as a self-reliant and diligent way of working
• You are currently enrolled as a student and will be enrolled for 12 months or more in your studies
• Confident knowledge of German and English both written and spoken which enable you to work in a bilingually communicating company
• Good MS Office skills (Word Excel PowerPoint)
• First experience in digital law (IT law data protection law etc.) would be an advantage
