Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Screening Driver in Arlington TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. You will remain visible conduct routine patrols and respond to concerns with strong customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees drivers contractors and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Perform entry screening duties at a logistics and distribution location including checking credentials monitoring access points and conducting package and/or property inspections as permitted by post orders.
- Monitor alarms gates and screening equipment and document unusual activity to help to deter unauthorized access and/or loss.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner notifying site leadership and/or public responders as required by post orders.
- Complete patrols and routine checks of access points staging areas and the building perimeter with working environments and conditions varying by location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
