What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants residents guests and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential and commercial property areas including lobbies hallways stairwells parking areas loading zones and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including disturbances medical calls fire alarms and/or property damage and notify site management and/or emergency services as required by post orders.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entrances and exits verifying credentials when required and assisting with visitor and/or contractor check-in procedures per site-specific policies.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation communicate observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership and participate in shift turnovers to support consistent security-related coverage.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
