As a Security Officer - Foot Patrol in MOORESVILLE NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas perform routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will observe document and communicate findings assist with access control and alarm response and deliver customer service with clear professional interaction. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients employees and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting details and notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of production areas warehouses loading docks parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and vehicle and/or pedestrian traffic verifying authorization directing visitors and deliveries and maintaining required logs and reports.
• Complete detailed shift reports and incident reports support investigations with observations and communicate timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
