Modality Sales Specialist IGT-S Southern Africa

Your role:
As a Modality Sales Specialist (IGT-S) you will be responsible for IGT-S sales opportunities end to endfrom initial lead to contract closure. Acting as the subject matter expert for the IGT-S portfolio you will develop tailored value propositions that address customer needs. You will build strong trust-based relationships with clinical key opinion leaders and stakeholders and work closely with the clinical application team district commercial teams and cross-functional teams across the Southern and META region including account managers service teams marketing supply chain and procurement.

  • Be responsible for OIT Sales profitability market share including pricing value propositions CS life cycle management and indirect channel management.
  • Be responsible for the sales process of related IGT-S portfolio specific opportunities from lead till contract/order closure.
  • Having deep expert knowledge of products/solutions and supporting sales team in technical clinical commercial and strategical aspects in the field to reach annual targets. Customer presentations site visits and demos of the related portfolio and value proposition.
  • Preparing and delivering accurate monthly business forecasting via accurate lead and opportunity management in Philips CRM system ()
  • Defining and executing the implementation of the business plans initiatives pricing strategy and product mix to be sold in the region according to established guidelines.
  • Analyzingthe market competition and trends to reflect marketing strategies and intelligence in a profitable way.
  • Creatingand executing annual marketing plan in coordination with IGT-S META BMM and META Marketing Operations teams.
  • Coordinating internal and external marketing activities from sales force trainings to new product launches workshop and trade showsand Marketing Operations teams.
  • Developing and driving a trust-based relation with customers to maximize the value of short & long-term business with the account for Philips based on deep understanding of customers needs.
  • Managing relationships with portfolio specific KOLs and other relevant stakeholders at the accounts and drive structured KOL Engagement program in the market.
  • Supporting business/cluster related campaigns product and services introduction and end of life programs in market.
  • Identifying opportunities for long term and/or performance-based partnerships



Youre the right fit if: (4 x bullets max)

  • University degree and 5 years of industry experience (preferably experience on Image Guided Therapy Systems)
  • Able to analyze and develop insights of market trends and application to commercial strategy
  • Has expert knowledge of company products and services in addition to relevant marketing and sales techniques.
  • Skills in collaborating with and influencing multiple stakeholders and leveraging capabilities: works across internal and external boundaries to maximize value for Philips through simple solutions.
  • Customer & Quality first mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English


How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
