What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business location and perimeter including interior and exterior areas as assigned.
• Control access to the technology campus by monitoring entry points verifying visitor credentials and directing guests to the appropriate check-in process.
• Monitor alarms cameras and access control systems and report irregular activity per site-specific policies.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation and communicate updates to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Assist with traffic flow and pedestrian movement in parking lots loading areas and designated walkways as needed.
• Support emergency response activities such as evacuations medical calls and severe weather actions by following post orders and coordinating with public responders as appropriate.
• Help to deter unauthorized access theft and property damage by maintaining a visible presence and addressing issues in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Perform other security-related duties as assigned by post orders and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
