What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students faculty staff and visitors by following site-specific procedures post orders and security-related protocols and assisting with directions and general questions.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter points noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to alarms calls for service and incidents in a calm problem-solving manner and coordinate with campus personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and common areas verify identification or authorization when required by site policy and document visitor activity according to procedures.
• Complete patrol logs and incident reports with clear accurate details and communicate observations and status updates to supervisors and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
