Job Summary
New York City is launching several modernization initiatives tied to its transition from on-prem Accela to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (cloud CRM).
They are seeking a senior-level Data Architect to lead enterprise data strategy across CRM and related systems.
This is a highly visible role supporting:
Data retention and archival strategy
Duplicate data cleanup across systems (BA & AIMS)
Master Data Management (MDM)
CRM data governance
Configuration management alignment
Documentation and knowledge transfer
You will act as the architectural bridge across multiple initiatives ensuring scalability compliance and operational continuity.
What Youll Be Doing
Design enterprise data models and metadata frameworks
Develop and implement data retention & archival strategy
Lead deduplication and master data governance initiatives
Architect CRM data cleanup solutions
Align CRM configuration with governance standards
Support integration strategy with external systems
Deliver documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams
Requirements
- 8 years in enterprise data architecture
Strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM data architecture experience
Proven experience designing data retention & archival strategies
Experience with Master Data Management (MDM)
Strong understanding of CRM data structures and system integrations
Excellent stakeholder communication skills
Equivalent experience may be considered.
