What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants shoppers and/or visitors by following Allied Universal procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the mall common areas parking areas loading docks and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents alarms and service requests in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalating conflicts and coordinating with property management and/or public responders as directed.
• Monitor access points and back-of-house areas observe for suspicious behavior and report security-related concerns such as loitering disorderly conduct and/or unauthorized entry.
• Complete detailed written reports and incident documentation maintain activity logs and communicate observations and/or hazards to the appropriate contacts according to post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 6 months of security experience is required.
• A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
