You will support access control communicate clearly with staff patients and visitors and document activity using a computer or tablet as needed. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting actions taken and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas entrances parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow as assigned assisting with directions screening procedures and/or badge compliance in accordance with location requirements.
• Complete detailed reports and logs communicate observations to site leadership and/or dispatch and support investigations by preserving observations and relevant information.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
