Job Description
Engineer - Must have a Third Grade Engineer License from the City of Omaha (Boiler Certification)
This position would be perfect for a retired engineer looking to work again for extra income without all the stress of a regular Engineer position.
- The pay is $24.50 as per the contract and is NOT negotiable. Looking for a candidate to start immediately.
- This position is required to monitor equipment (boilers temperatures pressures water pumps fans air handlers) and troubleshoot when needed by contacting the on-call Facilities manager.
- They may perform the needed repairs themselves or utilize FaceTime to have the manager walk them through the process.
- If they are unable to fix it then the manager will contact another vendor to come in and complete the repairs.
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location including production warehouse loading dock office areas and/or the perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access control points and assist with visitor contractor and/or driver check-in including verifying identification issuing badges as directed and maintaining required logs.
- Observe and report suspicious activity hazards unauthorized access attempts and/or policy violations and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision per post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
