As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver in Leawood KS you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location you will drive the property and conduct routine rounds to help identify and report security-related concerns remain highly visible and support tenants and visitors with professional service. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license under AU Driver Policy requirements. At Allied Universal you will bring agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity to every shift.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and contractors at a commercial real estate location by following site-specific security-related procedures policies and post orders and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings common areas parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions reporting security-related issues hazards and/or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation notification and coordination with site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
• Complete routine documentation such as daily activity reports incident reports and patrol logs and communicate updates to the supervisor and/or site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
