Job Description
As a Security Guard - Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Houston TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a petrochemical location you will conduct routine patrols remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to alarms and access concerns with calm clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license and offers a chance to deliver outstanding customer service while working with a team that is agile reliable and innovative always acting with integrity and putting people first.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial chemical or petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings process areas parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Control access at designated entry points by checking identification logging visitors and/or contractors issuing temporary credentials as directed and directing traffic flow when needed.
- Complete detailed shift documentation including patrol logs incident reports and notable observations and communicate issues promptly to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1 years armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
