What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff and visitors by following site-specific procedures access control requirements and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and the location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas exterior grounds and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting appropriate personnel and/or public emergency services when needed.
• Monitor entrances common areas and key activity points for unusual conditions; assist with visitor check-in directions and de-escalation when appropriate.
• Document and report security-related incidents observations and patrol activity using written reports and/or electronic reporting systems per site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 1 year of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
