Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Front Lobby in Woodbury Heights NJ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff at a healthcare location by following Allied Universal procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Staff the front desk in a primarily stationary post assisting with visitor check-in issuing temporary credentials when authorized and directing individuals to appropriate departments in a courteous manner.
- Monitor access control points and front desk surveillance systems as assigned reporting suspicious activity and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including notifying clinical staff facility management and/or emergency services per site procedures.
- Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports communicate shift updates to incoming personnel and support security-related administrative tasks such as key control and package screening as required by site policy.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of security experience is required.
- Hospital vaccines are required.
- Be 21 years of age.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
