What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalating disputes and assisting with access issues as directed by site policy.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior corridors entrances parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or policy violations.
• Monitor and control access by observing visitor flow verifying credentials when required and directing individuals to appropriate check-in areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Document incidents observations and patrol activity in written reports and/or electronic systems and communicate timely updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
