What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and employees by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings lobbies parking areas loading areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or access control concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow verify credentials where required and document entries deliveries and contractor activity per site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation support and coordination with property management and/or responding agencies as directed.
• Prepare clear written reports of daily activities patrol observations and incident responses and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Security experience of 6 months is required.
• Lifting more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
