What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout sales floors back-of-house areas corridors parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalating conflicts and contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor entry and exit points and observe customer and employee activity for suspicious behavior theft indicators and/or disorderly conduct; document observations per post orders.
• Complete daily activity reports incident reports and shift logs and communicate significant events to Allied Universal management and/or site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
