Job Description
As a Security Officer - Gatehouse Driver in Moncks Corner SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an Allied Universal Officer supporting a tech media and/or telecom location you will focus on access control welcoming employees and visitors while helping manage badging and entry verification. You will monitor activity complete routine patrols and document security-related observations using site technology supporting quick communication and strong customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license backed by a caring agile team that leads with integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and access control requirements at a tech and telecommunications location.
- Control access at entry points by verifying credentials issuing and collecting visitor passes managing sign-in logs and directing visitors to approved destinations.
- Monitor alarms cameras and access control systems; identify unusual activity and report or escalate per post orders to help to deter unauthorized entry.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including supporting emergency response activities and communicating updates to appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces building entrances and the perimeter; document observations and submit required reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
