You will provide outstanding customer service clear communication and timely incident reporting while partnering with staff and students. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities in an education setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating with campus staff and/or public agency partners as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions reporting concerns and/or hazards through established communication channels.
• Complete required documentation such as activity logs and incident reports and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21 years of age.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
