Learn more: As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a cultural institution you will monitor and patrol galleries public spaces and staff areas maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds observe and report unusual activity assist visitors with directions and questions and communicate clearly with site teams. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a cultural institution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of galleries public areas offices and perimeter areas to help to deter suspicious activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
• Monitor entrances exhibit areas and restricted spaces to help manage access observe for unusual behavior and/or address prohibited items or conduct in accordance with site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation coordinating with site representatives and/or contacting emergency services as directed by procedure.
• Complete required documentation such as patrol logs incident reports and shift handoff notes and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
